This is the first time I had to return an item to Amazon.
One side didn't come charged, only one side played sound.
Even after charging it, one side still didn't play the sound.
It was for my daughter and she was so disappointed.
We are returning this item but ordered another one, since Amazon doesn't do an exchange
on this item.
Hope we don't get a defective one next time.

These little speakers are great for travel,they are easy to carry, & put out good sound considering their size,two definitely sound better than one, but either way, it's still better than the speakers in your laptop, & it's great with your iphone or ipod .

I was looking for portable speakers for my DVD player. I have gone through 2 sets (I use them ALOT). The first set had a built in amp so it had a nice deep base sound but they were $75. The second set I had were cheap $20 pair got really distorted when they got loud. So I was looking for somthing that was a combonation of both in-expensive but sound great. Thats what you get with X-Mini MAX II Capsule Speakers. They don't have as deep of sounds as my first set but they are no way as bad as my second. I cranked these speakers as loud as they went and got no distortion. They are VERY portable and sound great for there size. The key idea is they sound great for there size!!!!. I definatly recommend for portable video and music players of all kind (including phones).

Product ordered from Amazon.com arrived defective returned item within 5 hours... I wanted a replacement, the same item I was told by Amazon.com that I had to go on-line and order the same item again...they (Amazon) could not do anything to facilitate my new order. This is my third set of X-Mini Speakers - I also purchased one black "egg" pair and a set of X-Mini II speakers, which I link together for very good sound. As a frequent traveler, this combination is perfect for me. Unfortunately, within several months of getting the red speakers, one of them just died. I have had no trouble with the black ones so I'm not sure if it's just coincidence of if the red ones are somehow inferior.
