I just returned my X-Mini Max II speakers. Had them for 1 day and sent them back. Compared to my JBL ring, these are awful! I can't even listen to them. They are muffled, have very little base and no highs. Unless you are desperate I wouldn't bother wasting any money here.

The sound quality is very good considering the size of the speakers, and very loud too. The price is right. The battery last long, and is rechargeable. The only things that I don't like is that when they are put together, due to it's cylindrical shape they don't stay flat on a surface. Also I wish the USB cable came separately so you don't have the USB connector just hanging there.

I purchased the X mini speakers a few months ago. Initially the sound was a good crisp and loud for the small package. In the waning months however, the speaker on one side had a short and the other one had a reduced sound before eventually dying altogther. This also may be the reason why the other side which was loud thought it had a short in it, also died. I had intially recommended this product to a couple of friends but I unfortunately will have to retract my praise of the product. I am not looking for another product elsewhere.

I am a retired aerospace machinist, and I have found the X-Mini MAX II Speakers to be most useful around the house. If I am working in the kitchen, and don't want to disturb anyone-(wife-grandkids) or reading/ (napping) , I run my iPod through these speakers at fairly low to moderate volume. They are perfect. They hold a charge so long, that I just charge them from time to time, but the light has remained blue(charged) since I got them. These are my second set, my daughter having "borrowed" the first pair. They are great. I would purchase again, and they would make a great gift-OR "Lend Out"

Very portable and fairly robust (durable), especially inside of included soft case. Good sound and very nice battery life. USB to recharge (and play from USB concurrently). Used with small laptop for better sound and MP3 (FLAC, M4A) player in various locations, including the beach. Very nice sound for the portability. Definitely worth the money.
