5 out of 5 stars Streams Android phone to iPod car adapter   August 31, 2010
Matt (Austin, TX USA)
After a recent incident in Barcelona where a bird pooped on my iPhone followed by an elderly gypsy woman pickpocketing it, I found myself switching to a Samsung Captivate android phone. The problem was that my car had an iPod dock connector. The adapter also included an aux input, but this was a hassle to connect both power and audio to my phone every time I got in the car.

I purchased this adapter and connected it to the iPod/iPhone connector in my car, and now when I sit down all I have to do is hit play (and optionally connect USB power) and music from my phone is wirelessly sent into the car speakers. It works great.

2 out of 5 stars Works, but the sound is very muddy   August 11, 2010

Sounds worse than my Aux jack in my car. Figured this would be pure digital, but it comes out very muddy sounding. Sounds Horrible.

This is VERY well priced for it can do. I use it to convert my cars ipod adapter to something that'll stream my phone's audio so I can listen to all digital radio. This works perfectly. My cars steering wheel controls WORK with my blackberry's media player and will work with next, previous, seeking etc. Basically any function my ipod and phone share, the car will now control it. The only downside is that when get a call, that the call audio doesnt go through the stereo, but that's not really what I want it for anyway so I'm not complaining at all. Basically I bought this so I didnt have to install a 250 dollar stereo just for an aux adapter for my phone. 20 dollars will replace it. BUY

To the people of [...] - wait until this is available because this will help anyone who wants bluetooth audio in their car but only have an ipod adapter. this doesnt send calls through though only music, radio apps, and any other non call related audio.
